I love coding. But I’m not only a coder. I also live on it as an engineer at Microsoft. Currently work on Chromium.
I love playing video games. But I’m not only a gamer. I’m a game influencer on Bilibili. I once worked in game industry and participated in several Game Jam events.
I love loud music (Rock). But I’m not only a listener. I also play electric guitar. Once I joined a band called ReturnTrue and played several live performances for Microsoft.
I love colorful designs. But I’m not only a witness. I also photograph and do creative color grading.

I started to being an influencer on Bilibili.
I choose to use the name 游戏游牧人, which both means a game hunter and a game nomad. It imply that I’m hunting for freedom and games.
I focus on Indie Games and Roguelike Games at the beginning. I posted videos and do game streaming. After one month, I have got 2000+ followers and 325000+ video views.
Recently I’m sharing game related knowledge and making Video Essays. I have got 11,000+ followers and 1886000+ video views until 2023.02.
I merged my first PR into the Chromium.
I fixed a PWA bug which happens in all chromium based browser. Even if I only changed two lines, it means a lot to me. I did tons of investigation, and learned a lot from this. And it’s also the first time for our team to merge into Chromium.
I joined the first band in my life, ReturnTrue. We played for several Micrsoft events.
Our first public performance, and also my personal fist public performance is The Internationale (国际歌). It’s also my guitar teacher’s first band performance when he was young.
I graduated and joined Microsoft. From an employee’s view, Microsoft is a great company.
I worked on the Microsoft 365 networking connectivity for 1.5 years, learned frontend (especially React) and .NET Core. And I contributed to some open source projects like FluentUI (> 13.5k stars).
I interviewed lots of game companies before I graduated. But finally, I found that, in China, the industry is too tough and almost impossible to find a console-game company. So, Microsoft is my final choice.
I interned at SOULGAME(魂世界) as a game developer. Developed some mini games, for example Caroline’s Working 2, release on iOS and HTML5.
It’s my first time to use TypeScript. It’s a great experience.
I interned at Tencent as a game developer which was the first job in my life. Developed the FPS game Ring_of_Elysium which was published on Steam.
Tencent is a great company from an investor’s view. But I hate the 996-style life, because a bunch of hobbies and skills are needed to be developed after work.
I trained for ACM ICPC (The International Collegiate Programming Contest) 1.5 years and practiced almost every day. I joined tons of competitions. And finally, I wined the Gold medal on ACM ICPC China-Final.
It’s really interesting that I learned algorithms first, and then software development. I guess that’s not the common way.
I went to Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU).
For the fisrt 1.5 years, I mainly forcus on training for programming contests. Then I worked at Media Intelligence Laboratory (MIL) and learned Deep Learning for one year. After that I focus on game development for 1.5 years.
